Misting fan

A misting fan provides the largest variety of options for an evaporative cooler. It can easily be set up with a small water tank and pump without weighing a ton, and is also quite easy to permanently mount. A misting fan that you choose to permanently mount somewhere could be set up either with a tank that you could store when humidity is too high, or when all you need is a good breeze, or you could run a water line to it from your building's plumbing. A good misting fan unit will provide effective cooling, with or without the fan running. A properly sized nozzle matched with an appropriately sized pump forces water droplets out at a size that forces the water to flash-vaporize as it exits the nozzle, based on the humidity of the surrounding air alone, quickly dropping the temperature.
